Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer are set to reprise their roles for the Call me by your name sequel, according to reports.

Director Luca Guadagnino told La Republica that it was a "pleasure to work with" the pair, as he confirmed the news.
"It is a great pleasure to work with Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Michael Stuhlbarg, Esther Garrel and the other actors. Everyone will be in the new movie,” he said .
He also recalled how he had meant to fly to the United States to meet with a writer about the second film - however, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, that had to be cancelled.

Ce nouveau film s'éloignerait du livre Find Me et devrait plutôt s'intéresser à la dernière partie de Call me by your name qui ne figure pas dans le film

Guadagnino previously spoke about his hopes for a sequel to the Oscar-nominated film - and revealed that he was working with André Aciman, who wrote the 2007 novel, on ideas.
“I’m already conceiving the story with [author] André Aciman. It’s gonna happen five or six years afterwards, so almost in the 1990s," he previously told USA Today.
“It’s gonna be a new movie, a different tone. You’re gonna see a lot of the East Coast of America… They’re gonna go around the world.”

J'ai tellement peur et en même temps j'ai tellement hâte de voir ce que cela peut donner !
On sait qui signera le scénario de cette suite ? André Aciman ? James Ivory ? Je ne suis pas sûre d'avoir tout compris 

D'après ce que j'ai lu, cela va être une collaboration entre le réalisateur du film et André Aciman, mais si James Ivory peut s'en mêler, je serais ravie
Je pense que le choix du scénariste n'est pas encore fait "to meet with a writer about the second film"

Ok, merci pour cette précision, c'est ce qu'il me semblait. Je ne serais pas non plus contre l'idée que James Ivory y mette son grain de sel ! J'ai tellement aimé son scénario pour Call me … et il n'y a pas dire, scénariste et romancier ce n'est pas le même métier !
